Born in Geneva as a political refugee from hungary, Andrea Vàradi was marked by exil. Apatride until the age of 13 she will become swiss. Andrea Varadi carries on the memories through objects impregnés de mémoire that convey in the same time a universal and personal dimention. Objets last longer that man, in her studio, the artist paints on the table of her father on which he himself painted, on the table that overlived him on which the pencils lines

se mêlent aux siens.

The artist invite us to rethink our relation to the world, to others, our geographical and psychological borders, our way to lock up things in catégories which  qui à leur tour nous locks us up in models of thinkinkg that are limiting.
